Donny Benz is the Co-founder and owner of Goat Green, LLC, a goat grazing service business utilizing 1,500 head of Cashmere goats for land restoration; weed control, fire fuel load mitigation, erosion control, oilfield reclamation, reseeding brush control and overall land rejuvenation to meet landowners’ specific goals.
Goat Green, LLC (formerly Ewe4ic Ecological Services) was founded in 1996, and has completed contracts in 15 different western US states for farms, ranches, US Federal Government agencies (US Forest Service, BLM, VA hospitals, Bureau of Reclamation, Military Bases) State Agencies, municipalities, private land owners, HOA’s and private institutions and has grossed over $8MM in goat revenue to date.
Donny holds a BS in Finance and Real Estate and an MBA from Colorado State University. Donny’s education and business acumen qualified him for a team seat at a family office in Greenwich, CT, where he co-managed a portfolio of regenerative agriculture investments.
He continues to operate Goat Green, LLC. with his mother Lani Malmberg, fiancé Kaiti Singley, and 5 border collies (who really run the show).
